📍 EURECOM’s team will showcase a live demo titled: “CAPIF Integration with OAI Network Exposure Function”

This demonstration highlights the integration of CAPIF (Common API Framework for 3GPP Northbound APIs) with EURECOM’s OAI Network Exposure Function (NEF), validated through a practical use case. EURECOM has developed a cloud-native, containerized architecture for its NEF, seamlessly integrated with CAPIF. The CAPIF API Provider microservice within the NEF supports key 3GPP functionalities: API Management Function (AMF), API Exposure Function (AEF), and API Publishing Function (APF).

During the demo:

• The NEF will register with an OpenCAPIF instance and publish its APIs.
• A vertical application outside the PLMN trust domain will request user location data, discovering and consuming NEF APIs via OpenCAPIF.
• Meanwhile, a network operator application will retrieve logging and auditing data via OpenCAPIF, enabling accurate API usage charging based on call volume and type.

This demo will showcase the seamless interaction between CAPIF, NEF, and external applications, highlighting the value of standardized API management and exposure within 5G networks.
