Inspiring the Next Generation: 11th High School of Patras Visits the University of Patras for a Dive into 5G, 6G, and AI Technologies

We were delighted to welcome students from the 11th High School of Patras to the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of the University of Patras, in collaboration with the SMARTECH Department of ISI ATHENA.

During their visit, students had the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, 6G, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and learn about our involvement in Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) projects, including 6G-BRICKS.

An interactive session showcased how Virtual Reality (VR) applications can benefit from these next-generation network capabilities, giving students a glimpse into the future of immersive technologies powered by intelligent connectivity.
