Distributed Management & Orchestration

The DMO is the component responsible for detecting and resolving anomalies arising within the testbeds autonomously, without human intervention. It implements a closed-loop mechanism, enabling the zero-touch network and service management (ZSM) concept by leveraging advanced techniques such as artificial intelligence (AI) for anomaly detection, explainable AI (XAI) for identifying the root causes of anomalies, and machine reasoning (MR) for resolving anomalies.

The experimenter can dynamically deploy the ZSM components through the DMO for a given experimentation.

These ZSM components implement AI, XAI, and MR to detect and resolve anomalies within an experimentation autonomously.

The experimenter will be kept informed by receiving updates and explanations about the anomalies and how they are resolved within their experimentation.

Collaboration Process

Third parties can design and implement ZSM components using AI, XAI, and MR techniques collaboratively for a given type of anomaly within the network, such as traffic anomalies or resource consumption issues. These components can then be deployed by the 6G-Bricks DMO for a given experimentation to enable ZSM.
