6G-BRICKS was proudly represented by i2CAT and Brainstorm at the 16th edition of the NEM Summit 2025, held in Berlin on October 21–22.

The project took the spotlight in two key moments of the event:

1. 6G-IA White Paper on Media & Entertainment:
   The 6G-BRICKS Metaverse-related use cases were featured in the presentation of a White Paper on Media & Entertainment driven by 6G-IA. This White Paper provides an overview of media related use cases addressed in SNS projects, highlighting how next-generation network technologies will transform media and entertainment experiences.
2. Metaverse-like Virtual TV Shows Use Case:
   A deeper look was given into the project’s proof-of-concept on virtual TV shows, illustrating how 6G enablers, like cell-free technologies, contributed to enhanced performance, immersion and interoperability in distributed immersive services.

Overall, the 6G-BRICKS outcomes drew strong interest from both media and network technology experts, eager to follow up on the real-world validation of the project’s use cases, scheduled to take place at the 6G testbed at KU Leuven in November 2025.
