6G-BRICKS Co-Organised Its Final Public Event, “INNOVATION TO IMPACT: Deep Tech in Action 2026”
The 6G-BRICKS project proudly participated in the organization of the “INNOVATION TO IMPACT: Deep Tech in Action 2026” conference, held in Athens, Greece. Co-organized by INTRACOM Telecom, OTE Group of Companies, ATHENA Research Center (ISI/ATH), and SmartPress S.A., the event brought together leading representatives from industry, academia, public authorities, and the research community to explore how artificial intelligence is shaping the future of communications networks and accelerating digital transformation.
The conference served as a platform to present the final achievements and innovations developed within the 6G-BRICKS, ADROIT6G, and ACCC AC3 projects, demonstrating how cutting-edge research is being transformed into real-world impact.
Exploring the Future of Intelligent Networks
Discussions throughout the event were structured around three thematic pillars:
- Pillar I: Smart Networks, Smarter Applications
- Pillar II: Governing the Digital Future with AI
- Pillar III: Deploying Intelligence Anywhere
Across these sessions, distinguished speakers shared valuable insights on the opportunities and challenges associated with AI-enabled networks, autonomous systems, digital governance, and the future evolution of connectivity infrastructures.

Live Demonstrations Bringing Innovation to Life
A key highlight of the conference was the presentation of nine live demonstrations developed within the 6G-BRICKS, ADROIT6G, and ACCC AC3 projects. The demonstrations showcased state-of-the-art innovations in:
- Artificial Intelligence for network management
- 6G technologies and experimentation platforms
- Autonomous and self-managed networks
- Distributed intelligence
- Advanced connectivity solutions
The demonstrations were developed by a diverse ecosystem of partners, including INTRACOM Telecom, SPACE HELLAS, Satways, Siemens, i2CAT, Spark Works, CYENS Centre of Excellence, ATHENA Research Center, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and Red Hat, illustrating the strength of collaborative European research and innovation.
From Research to Real-World Impact
As 6G-BRICKS approaches the conclusion of its journey, participation in events such as INNOVATION TO IMPACT: Deep Tech in Action 2026 demonstrates the project’s commitment to transforming research excellence into practical solutions that support Europe’s digital transformation ambitions.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with stakeholders, share project outcomes, and discuss the future of intelligent, AI-native communication networks.
